Superfruit and Mango?!

*5 out of 10

Ingredients:
- Superfruit yogurt
- Mango yogurt
- Mango
- Blackberry
- Kiwi
- Almonds
- Condensed Milk

Overall, this flavor tastes similar to the Mango on Mango combination except that it is just not as good. Why? Well for one, you can't taste the Superfruit yogurt because the mango along with the other fruits overpower the yogurt.  Remember that when combining two yogurts, there needs to be elements that are complementary with each other. Balance is the key - you need to be able to taste both flavors of yogurt.  In this case, the richness of the mango yogurt just destroys the Superfruit. Having blackberry and kiwi makes the yogurt extremely sour. You would think that the condensed milk would do a good job of evening out the yogurt but it is fairly inconsistent.  Some bites are extremely sour while others become extremely sweet.  I think that the condensed milk and the fruit make a good combination, and I will keep that in mind for future flavors, but it just wasn't as enjoyable as I thought that it would be. I couldn't really pick out the blackberry again, I think that was because of the mango.  Also, the almonds is a good texture replacer but it wasn't sweetened so it doesn't do complete justice when replacing granola.  If you are trying the Mango on Mango flavor and you want your yogurt to be more sour, then I would suggest your replace the granola with the almonds.
