Christmas time! - Red Velvet
* 6.5 out of 10
Ingredients:
- red velvet cupcake batter yogurt
- chopped peanuts
- reese's pieces
- yogurtland christmas pretzel
The red velvet cupcake batter is back by popular demand! What was seasonal last year seems like it is here to stay. On its own, the yogurt is fairly sweet. Compared to others, it is equivalent to being as sweet as the cheesecake. It does not particularly resemble what one might expect of red velvet, in fact it taste similar to chocolate but nevertheless when mixed with the right ingredients, it can be fairly delicious. Reese's pieces goes well with red velvet and the christmas pretzel compliments the yogurt with its crunchy texture. I would recommend crushing the pretzels so that it is easier to eat. Thinking more about it, I don't think it is necessary to include the chopped peanuts. In fact I think it covers up the flavor of the reese's pieces. The pretzel is a good choice because the saltiness of the pretzel tones down the sweetness of the red velvet yogurt. If this is a concern for you then I would recommend cutting down the amount of pretzel you are using. Overall, this is definitely worth trying especially during the Christmas season!
