Seasonal: Pumpkin Yogurt - Thanksgiving mix 1
*8 out of 10
Ingredients:
- Banana slices
- Cheesecake bites
- Walnuts
- Graham cracker crumbs
This combination is absolutely delicious. I can't take the credit for this mix, because it was all Mike. I think he made like three or four of these before we decided to actually post it. Anyways, assuming that you enjoy all of the ingredients and that you are not allergic this is a MUST try. First of all let me just say that the pumpkin yogurt is more thick an rich compared to maybe some of the others like coconut, which just means that the flavors are not watered down and therefore the yogurt is good by itself. The banana is also rich in flavor but it doesn't overwhelm the yogurt, it is a good compliment. Not to mention, the gooey texture of the banana with the crunch of the walnuts leaves every bite complex and enjoyable. Lastly, think of the cheesecake as a medium texture that leans on the pasty side and combined with the crumbs of the graham cracker, it balances out the palette as the yogurt melts. Sometimes the combination is good right when you put it into your mouth but then gets boring as it all dissolves and turns to mush. The graham cracker prevents that because of how dry it is. Every bite down to the aftertaste is enjoyable.
