Plain Tart w/ Shredded Coconut, Granola, and Honey

*2 out of 10

Ingredients:
- Plain tart yogurt
- Shredded coconut
- Granola
- Honey

I really love all the flavors in this yogurt... just not together like this. Everything in this yogurt has a very distinct and strong taste of its own and the flavors just clash with each other. It's kind of like trying to get hipsters to play nice with one another when all they want to do is do their own thing.
I think what makes this especially bad is the mixture of plain tart and honey. If it weren't for the honey, this yogurt combination might be tolerable, but as it is, it's just too overbearingly honey-ey and sweet. So as I said, though all the flavors that make up this yogurt are good in their own light, they don't work well together and I would do well to stay away from putting them all in one cup.

Coffee THROWUP

*1.5 out of 10

Ingredients:
- Coffee yogurt
- chopped peanuts
- graham cracker
- Reese's peanut butter cups

I might be a little biased here, but this was probably the worst yogurt I've had, by far, second only to the Yogurt Suicide posted a week ago. Though I love, love, love coffee (especially black), I personally don't like "coffee" flavored things (coffee yogurt, coffee ice cream, coffee flavored cake); it just doesn't taste like coffee. But putting that aside, the pairings of the yogurt and toppings just didn't work. Coffee yogurt on it's own, might be okay (that is, if you like the flavor of "coffee"), but with these toppings, I would dare to say it tasted like throw-up, just slightly sweeter. The flavor of the coffee, graham crackers, peanuts, and Reese's just clashed and ended up tasting... really bad. In addition to that, the crunchiness of the peanuts and hardened Reese's just made it worse. I'm sure there's some topping combination that works well with coffee, but until we find it... be wary of the coffee.

Cookie Monster

*6 out of 10

Ingredients:
- double cookies and cream yogurt
- vanilla wafer yogurt
- oreos
- cookie dough bites
- frosted animal cookies

Attention cookie lovers: this one's for you. This yogurt combination is very sweet, but hey, it IS called the Cookie Monster. As opposed to our other yogurts where the yogurt is the base, in this one, the yogurt is actually just a complimentary flavor to the toppings. You don't really taste the flavor of the double cookies and cream and vanilla wafer yogurts. I would say that the oreo, cookie dough, and animal cookie toppings overpower the yogurt, but that's not exactly true. The toppings take the light in this one, but the yogurt is what allows it to shine. All the ingredients work together to create a very complete experience, both in texture and in taste.
When you think of the two yogurts here—double cookies and cream and vanilla wafer—you would think sweet, but when paired with these toppings, they seem to be more of neutral and balance out the extreme sweet of the toppings. And again, you don't really taste the flavor of the yogurt, but it's there and it works well. Definitely try this if you're a lover of cookies and sweets. It's pretty good and I would get this again.

Pistachio Nut

*7 out of 10

Ingredients:
- Pistachio yogurt
- Sliced almonds
- Yogurt chips
- Condensed milk

I personally love pistachio.  The only reason why I decided to give this flavor a seven is because I don't think I would get pistachio every time.  I enjoyed every bit of this except for the condensed milk, which made it extremely sweet. The sliced almonds meshed really well with the pistachio and complimented it in texture as well as flavor.  The pistachio yogurt by itself is already fairly sweet so having almonds that are unsweetened just seems fitting.  The yogurt chips, though do add a little more sugar to the mix, brings its own unique flavor and stands out in the midst of the pistachio and almonds.  To be more specific, as you are munching down on the almonds within the pistachio, you also notice something subtle and different, which is the yogurt chips melting in your mouth.  It seems unnoticeable at first because the texture of the yogurt chips are camouflaged with the almonds and its sweetness is hidden in the yogurt. However, after the pistachio is gone and you are left crunching the almonds, you begin to notice the yogurt chips as they reveal themselves through their sweetness. If you are a pistachio lover like me, you NEED to try this flavor! Just make sure you do it without the condensed milk.

Go Nuts!

*5 out of 10

Ingredients:
- peanut butter yogurt
- Reese's peanut butter cups
- chopped peanuts
- cookie dough
- chocolate sprinkles

The peanut butter yogurt by itself wouldn't be that good of a choice going to yogurtland but it has a sweetness that is complimented well with Reese's peanut butter cups and cookie dough. I could have done without the sprinkles and nuts because the chocolate in the Reese's gets frozen when in the yogurt so the peanuts make it too crunchy (otherwise leave in nuts). My favorite part to this yogurt is definitely the cookie dough, it's soft, chewy, and very tasty with the peanut butter yogurt. All in all, I'd only eat this if I was in the mood for something very nutty and definitely not on a regular basis.

Strawberry Delight

*8.5 out of 10

Ingredients:
- Fresh strawberry yogurt
- Oreos pieces
- Cheesecake pieces

Another highly recommended flavor to try.  I wanted to use strawberry yogurt in a way that created a combination, which didn't involve fruit or anything sour.  The strawberry yogurt with Oreos alone was good enough for me to give it an 8. The Oreos did not mask the flavor of the strawberry nor did it overpower in sweetness.  I think that in general Oreos are just a good compliment with yogurt because it doesn't harden when it gets cold. In fact parts of it becomes softer, which might actually be a con if you don't like soggy Oreo pieces but nevertheless it blends out smoothly in every bite.  Notice I haven't talked much about the cheesecake pieces? Thats because I am not quite convinced that cheesecake was the best fit.  It competed with the flavor of the Oreos and if you got more than one block of cheesecake in a bite, then it was just too much.  The strawberry yogurt and Oreos is definitely a strong base to build from but I think there are better options than the cheesecake.  With that said, give it a try and let me know what you think!

Yogurt SUICIDE #1

*1 out of 10

Ingredients: (It is probably better that you didn't know)
- Double Cookies n' Cream yogurt
- Vanilla Wafer yogurt
- New York Cheesecake yogurt
- Peanut Butter yogurt
- Chocolate Twilight yogurt
- Brownie bites
- Cheesecake bites
- Cookie dough bites
- Dewars pieces
- Frosted animal cookies

Well, this just goes to show you that we aren't afraid to go the distance when experimenting with yogurt. I was feeling nostalgic trying this flavor of yogurt.  How many of you remember that time as a kid when you filled up your cup with ten different flavors of soda and called it a "suicide?" This is really no different except unfortunately, it tastes horrible.  I mean the only thing that I could actually distinguish within the yogurt was the frosted animal bites and that was probably because of the texture.  The truth is, that I was in utter confusion.  I didn't really know what to make of it other than the fact that it was SWEET.  There was just too much going on.  This particular flavor I probably won't ever get again but that doesn't mean there won't be another "suicide" flavor that we write about.  I am fairly confident that there will be a "suicide," which tastes surprisingly good in light of its intimidating ingredients.

* I am defining "suicide" as a limited conglomerate of yogurts and toppings.  It is not being used as the traditional usage: combining all flavors (in this case both toppings and yogurt) exhaustively.

Coconut Frenzy

*8 out of 10

Ingredients:
- Toasted coconut yogurt
- Coconut flakes
- Sliced almond
- Graham cracker (crushed/ground)

Maybe a title of "Coconut Lover's Dream" would be better suiting. Believe me when I say this is the ultimate coconut lover's dream... this yogurt is bursting with coconut flavor. But that's not to say it's only for those of you who like coconut. Mike, who doesn't particularly like coconut went koo-koo for coconuts. All the elements blend together very well and will have your taste-buds begging for more. Coconut on coconut is great. The ground graham crackers (make sure to put a lot in your cup, you won't be disappointed) compliment the yogurt almost better than the coconut on coconut combo—it's that good. Add some sliced almonds for texture, stir it all together and be prepared for a mouthful of coconut goodness. This is by far my favorite non-tart yogurt combination.

Try it. Please. I beg you. It is good.

(The reason I didn't give this a higher rating is because it is pretty sweet and I don't see myself getting this every time. But every now and then, I will most definitely indulge myself in this sweet, delicious extravagance.)

SuperFRUIT!!!

*6 out of 10

Ingredients:

- Superfruit Tart Yogurt
- Blackberry
- Blueberry
- Strawberry
- Mochi

Superfruit Tart yogurt is a fruit blend made up of pomegranate, acai, cranberry, and blueberry. It's basically the replacement to the unavailable Pomegranate Tart yogurt but it still can't hold a candle to the very missed yogurt. Well, Superfruit is not too sweet or tangy but it does have a good sweetness to it. There is definitely a distinction of fruit within this tart yogurt which makes it appealing. The berry fruits go well with the yogurt but I could go without the mochi because they were comparatively too sweet . However, I did like the chewy texture that I got with the mochi but I would have preferred something a little more crunchy like almonds, walnuts, or granola. This combo was pretty average and it seems like a lot of things don't mix well with Superfruit but I could see myself getting this flavor more often then not.

Christmas time! - Red Velvet

* 6.5 out of 10

Ingredients:

- red velvet cupcake batter yogurt
- chopped peanuts
- reese's pieces
- yogurtland christmas pretzel

The red velvet cupcake batter is back by popular demand! What was seasonal last year seems like it is here to stay. On its own, the yogurt is fairly sweet. Compared to others, it is equivalent to being as sweet as the cheesecake. It does not particularly resemble what one might expect of red velvet, in fact it taste similar to chocolate but nevertheless when mixed with the right ingredients, it can be fairly delicious. Reese's pieces goes well with red velvet and the christmas pretzel compliments the yogurt with its crunchy texture. I would recommend crushing the pretzels so that it is easier to eat. Thinking more about it, I don't think it is necessary to include the chopped peanuts. In fact I think it covers up the flavor of the reese's pieces. The pretzel is a good choice because the saltiness of the pretzel tones down the sweetness of the red velvet yogurt. If this is a concern for you then I would recommend cutting down the amount of pretzel you are using. Overall, this is definitely worth trying especially during the Christmas season!

Chocolate Fantasy

*6 out of 10

Ingredients:
- double cookies and cream yogurt
- oreos
- walnut
- malt ball
- chocolate sprinkle
- ghirardelli chocolate syrup
- yogurt chips

If you have been obsessing over something chocolate all day, then this is a combination that you need to try.  Overall the yogurt is quite tasty but you need to brace yourself for a toothache. This is probably one of the sweetest flavors that we have tasted.  Definitely not something that I would recommend getting regularly.  There is so much packed in this one cup of yogurt that makes it difficult to address all of the elements. The mix of yogurt chips, walnuts, chocolate sprinkle, malt balls and oreos makes every bite a "crunchy" one.  The ghirardelli syrup raises the sweetness level of the yogurt to another level so keep that in mind.  *Remember: that when using chocolate syrup only use a miniscule amount.  The richness and heaviness of syrup is what often causes people to be unsatisfied because they assumed that their yogurt would be less sweet. In this particular case, it wouldn't be a bad idea to remove the syrup as well as the yogurt chips.  That way the yogurt still has most of its primary elements but it is not over the top.

Mango Tart w/ Kiwis and Granola

*7 out of 10

Ingredients:
- Mango tart yogurt
- Kiwis
- Granola

I gotta admit, when I came home to this, I was a bit turned off by the look of what was inside the cup. I mean, what are those brown clumps in the yogurt?! However, I was pleasantly surprised by both the taste and texture of the yogurt. The mango tart yogurt itself is already pretty tasty. It's sweet and proportionately tart; a good balance. The kiwis further add to the tart taste of the yogurt. But it's the granola that really shines here. The sweetness of the granola balances the yogurt and kiwi very well and the crunchy texture makes the yogurt a joy to eat. If there were one addition to be made, it would be fresh mangos.

Another Plain and Simple

*9.5 out of 10

Ingredients:
- Plain tart yogurt
- Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Strawberries
- Mochi balls
- Condensed milk (just a little)

As the title suggests, this is another pretty basic yogurt combination: plain tart yogurt and fruits. Honestly, I don't think there's any way you can go wrong with that. The yogurt and fruits compliment each other excellently, the mochi balls add the perfect texture (I personally like chewy things A LOT), and the condensed milk balances out the tartness of the yogurt and fruits perfectly.
If there was one yogurt I'd get every time I go to Yogurtland, it'd be plain tart topped off with fruits. There's absolutely no way you can mess it up. It's simple, it's plain, and it's good.

So there you have it. Mix and match plain tart yogurt with as many (or as little) fruits as you want and you'll have a pristine creation every time!

Vanilla Wafer with Cap'n Crunch & Vanilla Wafers

*7.5 out of 10

Ingredients:
- Vanilla Wafer yogurt
- Cap'n Crunch cereal
- Vanilla Wafer cookies

This is one of the sweeter yogurts that you can get at Yogurtland, but the good thing about it is that it's not very rich like the NY Cheesecake or Red Velvet. I like the texture that Cap'n Crunch adds to the yogurt. My favorite thing about the yogurt is the cookies. The cookies were very delicious, although they can get soggy if you leave them in for too long.
I wouldn't recommend any fruit with the yogurt but maybe some dry chocolate.

Tiramisu with Bananas

*6 out of 10
(1 = never get it again, 10 = worth getting every time)

Ingredients:
- Tiramisu yogurt
- Sliced bananas

A fairly simple combination but if you are craving something Tiramisu, this will be disappointing. The Tiramisu yogurt tastes very similar to the coffee nevertheless it is fairly enjoyable. The Tiramisu was fairly sweet, which is why the banana is a good mix because the banana isn't too sweet and it keeps the texture consistent. If you are looking to add a crunch factor into the mix, I would recommend almonds.

So, strictly speaking, the yogurt's okay, but it's not tiramisu.
