Pistachio Nut
*7 out of 10
Ingredients:
- Pistachio yogurt
- Sliced almonds
- Yogurt chips
- Condensed milk
I personally love pistachio. The only reason why I decided to give this flavor a seven is because I don't think I would get pistachio every time. I enjoyed every bit of this except for the condensed milk, which made it extremely sweet. The sliced almonds meshed really well with the pistachio and complimented it in texture as well as flavor. The pistachio yogurt by itself is already fairly sweet so having almonds that are unsweetened just seems fitting. The yogurt chips, though do add a little more sugar to the mix, brings its own unique flavor and stands out in the midst of the pistachio and almonds. To be more specific, as you are munching down on the almonds within the pistachio, you also notice something subtle and different, which is the yogurt chips melting in your mouth. It seems unnoticeable at first because the texture of the yogurt chips are camouflaged with the almonds and its sweetness is hidden in the yogurt. However, after the pistachio is gone and you are left crunching the almonds, you begin to notice the yogurt chips as they reveal themselves through their sweetness. If you are a pistachio lover like me, you NEED to try this flavor! Just make sure you do it without the condensed milk.
